Food for thought in the Big Brother House

It’s time again for yet another fantastic weekly dose of Celebrity gossip here at Mecca Bingo, the number one place for online bingo! It’s been a busy past seven days in the celebrity world, so let’s get up to speed with all the latest goings-on.

In the Big Brother house, the housemates are playing for a luxury food budget in their latest task; the seven deadly sins.

As the most gluttonous housemate, Ziggy will probably be looking forward to the prize most of all after he was locked in a room with a banquet fit for a king. But whilst he had an array of lasagne, gateaux, chicken and even donuts, there was one small problem; he wasn’t allowed to eat a thing! Instead, he’ll have to wait in the room until Big Brother take pity on him and let him leave.

Amanda will be hoping that whatever the prize is, Frankfurters aren’t on the menu, as she was ordered to parade around in a rather fetching hotdog outfit without ever looking in the mirror. For someone voted as the most ‘proud’ housemate, that’s going to prove difficult!

So far any sign of romance in the BB house has been missing somewhat and outside of it, Big Brother couple Preston and Chantelle have split after just 10 months as husband and wife.

But although Chantelle and the Ordinary Boy’s front man have decided to go their separate ways, it’s not all bad news in the world of celebrity weddings.

Chris Evans, no stranger to walking down the aisle, has popped the question to golf writer Natasha Shishmanian and around 200 people will see the pair tie the knot in Portugal next month.

But of course, this week’s celebrity column wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the fantastic show put on at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. Over 60,000 people crammed into the new Wembley for the Concert of Diana and with such an array of talent on show, it was hard not to be impressed!

Elton John kick-started the party and Rod Stewart carried on where he left off, quite literally, by punting what seemed like Wembley’s entire supply of footballs into the crowd. There was something for everyone, be it the rapping of Pharrell Williams and Kanye West or the pop tones of crowd favourites Take That. A great performance and an enjoyable night had by those who were there.

Phew! What a week! But the work of your celebrity reporter never stops so whilst we go looking for the next big celebrity story, why don’t you sit back, relax and try and win big jackpots by playing bingo online?
