How Not to Bring Sexy Back

Hello bingo buddies, nice of you to join us once again. It’s time to take a few short moments away from your favourite online bingo games to get the juiciest celeb gossip around. This week on the Mecca Bingo celebrity column, we take a look at those unfortunate celebrities who are voted the ‘least’ and ‘worst’ in various polls by fans and magazines. Spare a tissue for these celebs, you know how easily their ego’s can bruise sometimes.

First up we have Sex in the City star Sarah Jessica Parker. Currently filming a movie version of the hugely successful television show, SJP had the dubious pleasure of being voted the least sexy woman alive in a new magazine poll this week.

The poll, which was carried out by a men’s magazine, described the actress as the ‘least sexy woman in a group of unsexy women’. Cutting words, and a little unfair we think. Sure, SJP perhaps doesn’t have the most feminine of features in certain photos (and they say TV adds 10 pounds to your weight) but anyone saying she’s the least sexy women hasn’t seen some of her great outfits on Sex in the City.

Yet more bad news for troubled singer Amy Winehouse. She came second in the ‘least sexy female’ poll, and was criticised for her ‘translucent skin, rat's nest hair and lashes that look more like surgically attached bats’. Crikey, these polls can cut deep, but at least Winehouse shines when it comes to singing.

While she may have been voted the best celebrity mum recently, Katie Price, aka model Jordan, was also voted the most pointless celebrity around by visitors to Madame Tussaud's waxworks museum in London.

Oddly, the model, children’s book writer and sometime TV presenter/singer finished ahead of Big Brother contestant Jade Goody! What’s going on people, we appreciate that Katie and hubby Peter Andre can seem a bit pointless, but she probably knows where East Anglia is – unlike Jade!

Finally this week, we take a look at the worst dressed celebrity couple. There were a few contenders out there for this one, but celebrity chef and food campaigner Jamie Oliver and his wife Jules have taken the crown.

Jamie may be a demon in the kitchen, but he dresses like a 12 year old boy, all floppy hair and big grins, according the feedback received in a recent online poll. His wife Jules didn’t fare much better, mixing London high street glamour with mummy-at-home charm but never quite pulling it off. Oh well you two, you’ll just have to make do with a restaurant empire, regular television series and load of money in the bank then! Life is tough for these celebs you know bingo buddies!

Honourable mention goes to Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster, and Madonna and Guy Ritchie – better try that little bit harder to dress down next time.
