Meanwhile in the Jungle, our Apprentice-watching readers will no doubt have been pleased to see Katie Hopkins put in a coffin with 20,000 cockroaches and dangled 200ft above the ground in the latest series of ‘I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here’.

The business woman, who famously walked out of the hit show fronted by Sir Alan Sugar as she wasn’t prepared to leave her family and move to London, has immediately hit it off with ‘the world’s first supermodel’ Janice Dickson. The pair were seen chatting in the camp about bad publicity and how the media has portrayed them both as a ‘bitch’ in the past.

Back to bizarre-world, and veteran TV and radio presenter Sir Jimmy Savile has described being robbed in Leeds as a ‘marvellous’ experience. The young female assailant made off with Sir Jimmy’s glasses as he left a function at the Queens Hotel.

Sir Jimmy, 81, went straight to the police, but admitted that the experience reminded him of being mobbed by eager fans in the 1950s.

"The fact I've not been mugged for over 50 years, I thought it was marvellous, it was just like old times," he said.
