The Not-so-Romantic Reality
It’s that time again to pull yourself away from our fantastic bingo prizes for a couple of minutes and catch up on the latest celebrity gossip. This week we’ll be taking a look at some of the recent escapades our celebrities have been getting up to and explore how reality TV can take its toll on relationships. If being famous seems more effort than it’s worth, another way you can live the celebrity lifestyle is by playing for a great bingo prize right here at Mecca Bingo. On with the goss...
I'm a Celebrity...Get me out of Here! has been very emotional this week, with home makeover queen Anna being voted out on Monday. But in the jungle, the snipers have been our and some contestats were happier than others to see her go. Supermodel Janice was the prime culprit, complaining that she moaned about everything because she was ‘typically English’ (we’re not sure that will go down well with our bingo buddies...) but most of the other celebs have been sad to lose her, Cerys especially ‘feels like she’s lost a sister’ (bless!).
Another of the Jungle crew had a rather stressful return to England caused by his soon-to-be ex-wife wrecking his business! The celeb chef John Burton-Race split from his wife Kim this spring and they have been going through divorce negotiations recently. Poor John got out the jungle to find Kim had closed his restaurant and sacked his 20 staff, telling them the restaurant would be sold for the divorce settlement as well as their marital home. Not quite the welcome back he was hoping for!
A sweeter reality TV rumour this week is the exciting hint of a romance between X Factor judges Dannii Minogue and Simon Cowell. Frankly I don't know whether to laugh or cry at that one! Pop princess Kylie is expecting some shenanigans between the pair and described a ‘little fizzle’ between them - already some hand holding has been spotted! We'll be watching closley here at Mecca Bingo - as soon as we know, you'll know!.
Elsewhere in X Factor World, it emerged that whoever wins this year’s competition will be battling for the Christmas number one with a cover of 'When You Believe'. It was originally released by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston in ’98 and will be re-vamped this December by one of the remaining contestants, and there we were thinking that the artist had something to do with the song choice!
That’s it for our reality TV’s insight for the moment, but you can fill the time until we’re back with more gossip by playing for some bingo prizes right here at Mecca Bingo. You never know, if you win a bingo jackpot you might be rubbing shoulders with the stars yourself by next week!
