This week, after everyone has spent their last penny over the festive period, we thought we'd look celebrities who have fallen on hard times. It must be pretty humbling to be adore by thousands, even millions, one minute, then having to scrape together bus change the next. A bingo jackpot would sort most of us out, but what about the celebs who are having a bit of a rough time. We'll start with a pop star who is on top of her game, but finds her accommodation not quite a palatial as you would imagine.

Sugababe Amelle Berrabah has been living in a mobile home with her boyfriend's mother. Her other half Freddie Fuller was the victim of a terrible attack on Christmas Eve and is recovering in hospital. Amelle is keeping his mother company and making daily visits to see her lover, who had to see off a machete-wielding maniac!

Most of Amelle's neighbours were very surprised to see a pop star living in a prefab, but one told the Daily Star, "I've said hello to her a few times and she seems quite nice!"

Bless, perhaps the royalty cheques haven't cleared yet!

Moving on, and any high kicking karate fans may remember 80s movie star Ralph Macchio. Ralph of course played the Karate Kid in the film trilogy, but dropped off the radar soon afterwards. After many years painting fences with Mr Miyagi, Ralph could soon be back on our screens in the imaginatively titled 'The Ralph Show'. Oscar for that name please!

Lastly this week we bring you Jennifer Grey. Yes, THE Jennifer Grey, star of Dirty Dancing and heroine to millions of women everywhere. Jennifer was the hottest star in Hollywood after her turn with Patrick 'The Hips' Swayze, but then something rather bizarre happened.

Jennifer decided to have a nose job! Unfortunately, this bit of cosmetic surgery inadvertently took away her unique looks - so much so that people stopped recognising her! She even gave a TV interview and admitted that most people thought she just looked a bit like 'that girl from Dirty Dancing'.How strange!
