It's third time lucky again for Scotland!

Glasgow was hailed as Britain’s luckiest hotspot today after landing a staggering 14 National Bingo Game wins at just one club!

Cash rich bingo players at the Mecca Forge in Glasgow are celebrating having scooped a massive £618,065 between them over the last 12 months.

This is the third year running that Scotland has been awarded poll position as the luckiest place to play bingo. Last year Dundee hit the number one spot with nine wins and a grand total of £368,217 whilst the previous year, Stirling secured £471,266 with six National Bingo Game wins.

It’s not all bad news for the English either as the Beacon Bingo Club in Cricklewood polled second place on the national leader board, after amassing the biggest prize fund overall, with ten National Bingo Game winners picking up a total of £666,144 between them.

The National Bingo Game Association (NBGA) calculated the top ten luckiest towns based on the number of National Bingo Game wins in each region in the past year.

NBGA spokesman Steve Baldwin said: “We have had 872 big winners over the past 12 months, and they pocketed over £41 million between them. Bingo has a huge following in Scotland so we’re delighted to see that they have won the title for the third year in a row.”

It seems Southerners are luckier when it comes to scooping the biggest single cash prize as a player at the Gala Bingo Club in Lakeside, Essex went home £453,081 richer after the National Bingo Game’s Mother’s Day game this year. Even though Lady Luck wasn’t shining on players in Dudley, Weymouth, Tamworth, Enfield or Bedminster, who polled the lowest overall number of National Bingo Game wins in the past year, they all still walked away winners too.

Steve Baldwin added: “What’s great about The National Bingo Game is its wide appeal to anyone and everyone over the age of 18, with a guaranteed winner every time. This year the National Bingo Game celebrates its 21st birthday and in that time, we’ve had thousands of lucky winners from all over the country who have won millions of pounds.”
