Mecca's Got Talents Terms & Conditions

• 1. (i) All participants must be aged 18 or over on Saturday 2nd April. All entrants (whether individuals or group acts) shall hereafter be referred to as an “Act(s)”.
• (ii) All wild card participants must be aged 18 or over on 26th March.
• 2. The online wild card entry can be submitted by any Acts who have entered into the Mecca’s Got Talent Club auditions and who meet the entry requirements in these terms and conditions.
• 3. (i) Customer entrants must be registered members of Mecca Bingo and have played at least twice in Club by Saturday 26th March. For group acts, the membership and attendance requirements apply to at least 2 individuals in the group.
• (ii) Successful online finalists must register online with Meccabingo.com and register as a Club member in order to attend the Grand Final.
• 4. Employee entrants must have completed a successful probation period to enter the competition. For group acts, the service requirements apply to at least 2 individuals in the group.
• 5. There is no requirement to participate in any gaming activity to be eligible for inclusion in the promotion.
• 6. Only one entry per Act.
• 7. (i) It is a requirement of the competition that all acts who are successful at the Club Finals, Regional Semi-Finals, Regional Finals and Grand Final agree to be involved in the associated publicity. All successful acts from all stages will be recorded and uploaded to MeccaBingo.com and Club Facebook pages. Acts are permitted to provide a recording of their own for publicity purposes.
• (ii) It is a requirement of the competition that all acts who enter the competition online and upload their videos agree to be involved in the associated publicity. All online finalist videos will be uploaded to various media outlets.
• 8. All entries must be received by Saturday 30th April. Mecca Bingo Limited reserves the right to amend the cut-off date if deemed necessary.
• 9. All online entries must be received by Monday 20th June 2011. Mecca Bingo Limited reserves the right to amend the cut-off date if deemed necessary.
• 10. Entries with incomplete contact details will not be accepted.
• 11. All acts must be available for Club Auditions, Club Finals, Regional Semi- Finals, Regional Finals and Grand Final. Dates of these stages of the competition will be advertised in the Club and on-line throughout the time that entries are open.
• 12. The two winning wild card online video acts are required to perform live at the grand final.
• 13. Each Act must submit an application form; only one application form is required per group.
• 14. (i) Acts are required to disclose the nature of their performance on the application form.
• (ii) Acts are required to disclose the use of any form of equipment as part of their performance on the application form. Acts are responsible for transporting any equipment at all stages of the competition. Acts are responsible for ensuring such equipment is safe and/or suitable for its use.
• (iii) Pyrotechnics, the use of animals or children under the age of 18 are not permitted.
• Acts that are deemed by Club Management to be either a health and safety risk, dangerous or inappropriate will not be permitted to enter. Club Management will inform entrants of any such decisions at the earliest opportunity. Club Management’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
• 15. Acts at all stages of the competition will perform for a maximum of 5 minutes. Judges decisions will be final.
• 16. Mecca Bingo reserves the right to disqualify any act if any of the information supplied by a member of that act is untruthful, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information or have failed to abide by these terms and conditions and/or are in breach of any of the terms hereof.
• 17. Previous overall winners of Mecca’s Got Talent will not be permitted to participate in the competition.
• 18. All prizes are accepted at the winners’ risk. Mecca Bingo Limited shall not be liable for any losses suffered as a result of the award of any prize excluding any death or personal injury caused as a direct result of Mecca Bingo Limited’s negligence.
• 19. Prizes details are as follows:
• a. Club Winners – 103 x 1 Club Winners certificates. Each act will also be given one pair of tickets (to be shared by the entire act) to one show on 2011 Britain’s Got Talent live tour. Exact date and location of show to be determined. Travel expenses will not be paid and there is no cash alternative. Club Winners represent Club at Regional Semi- Finals on Friday 27th May. All participating acts will receive free main session bingo.
• b. Regional Semi-Final Top 3 Acts – Represent Club at Regional Final event on Friday 17th June.
• c. Regional Final Winners – Represent Club at Grand Final on Saturday 16th July. One night’s overnight accommodation will be provided for the Grand Final and travel expenses up to £100 per act will be reimbursed. All acts will receive a winner’s trophy.
• d. Grand Final Winners – (i) a year’s contract with Stagepalm entertainment agency (ii) £5,000 cash prize.
• 20. The Mecca’s Got Talent promotion is operated by Mecca Bingo Limited, Statesman House, Stafferton Way, Maidenhead, Berkshire SL6 1AY.
• 21. Mecca Bingo Limited are authorised by FremantleMedia Limited to use official Britain’s Got Talent branding and imagery for the Mecca’s Got Talent competition. However, no other link to the Britain’s Got Talent TV show and competition should be inferred by entrants.
• 22. Mecca Bingo reserves the right to change or vary these terms and conditions (including without limitation verbally) at any time and you will be bound by any such changes.
