 The other symbol to keep a special eye out for is the golden lion. Whenever this hits in the base game, the Lionheart Emblem feature is activated. The golden lion then turns into a wild and turns between 2 and 4 standard symbols into wilds too.

Free Spins

Each reel has its own scatter symbol. Land 3, 4 or 5 scatters on the same spin and you’ll trigger the Free Spins feature. You’ll then go on to play 10 free spins. Each scatter has its own modifier. The scatters that triggered the free spins become active during the feature. Here’s what each scatter offers:

• Friar Tuck: the portly monk can appear on reel 1 only. If a Friar Tuck scatter lands during the free spins, 1 extra free spin is added to your total.
• Maid Marian: land Marian on reel 2 during the free spins and she becomes a wild, turning sticky for multiple free spins.
• Robin Hood: Robin can land on reel 3. Each time he arrives in the free spins, he turns into an expanding wild and turns the whole of the reel wild.
• Little John: when strongman Little John lands on reel 4 during the feature, a win multiplier increases by 1.
• Alan A’ Dale: the wandering minstrel can land on reel 5. Each time he lands, the lowest value royal symbol is removed from the reels, boosting your chances of creating a higher value combination.

It’s possible to land multiple scatters on the same free spin which can lead to some cracking combinations of modifiers. Each lion emblem that lands in the Free Spins feature adds 1 more free spin to your total and increases the value of the current win multiplier by 1.
