Mecca Fest Ticket Terms and Conditions

Definitions and Interpretation

  • “Event” means Meccabingo.com’s Mecca Fest, to be held on 30 May 2020 at the Venue.
  • “Tickets” means tickets or other types of evidence (including electronic tickets) for the right to attend the Event.
  • “Venue” means Blackpool Tower Ballroom, Promenade, Blackpool FY1 4BJ
  • “You” means you or anybody who in Our reasonable opinion is acting with your authority or permission. “Your” shall be read accordingly.
  • The Event is run by Rank Digital Gaming (Alderney) Limited (Company Number 1480) whose registered office is at La Corvee House, La Corvee, Alderney, Channel Islands, GY9 3TQ (the “Organiser”). Tickets including delivery

  • All Tickets are subject to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions should be read carefully and any queries relating to them should be raised with us prior to claiming a Ticket, as acceptance of Tickets constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  • A valid Ticket must be produced to get into the Event. Removing any part of, altering or defacing the Ticket may invalidate Your Ticket. It is Your responsibility to check Your Tickets as if you have made a mistake it cannot always be rectified. Please check your Tickets on receipt carefully and contact us immediately if there is a mistake.
  • Tickets are for UK residents aged 18 or over and You will be required to produce valid photographic ID on entry to the Venue.
  • It is a condition of entry to the Event that anyone attending has not self-excluded from bingo (whether online or in venue). If You or your guest is found to have self-excluded the Organiser may refuse entry to the Event.
  • Tickets are won in pairs, one for the winner and one for the winner’s guest. Maximum 3 pairs (6 tickets) per person.
  • The Organiser accepts no responsibility for tickets that are lost, stolen, destroyed, delayed, misdirected or cannot be delivered for any technical or other reason. It is not always possible to issue duplicate tickets. Duplicates may therefore be issued at the discretion of the Organiser acting reasonably.
  • Tickets are for personal use. You must not sell the Tickets or allow anyone else to use them. A breach of this condition will entitle the Organiser to cancel the Ticket without prior notification, refund, compensation or liability.
  • Please note this Ticket provides the ticket holder entry and one welcome drink only.
  • All Ticket holders shall be provided with a hotel room and a contribution towards the costs of travel. The Organiser will book the hotel rooms in advance and You will be required to share a room with your guest. There is no option to choose the hotel or Your room. Your Meccabingo.com account will be credited prior to the date of the Event with the sum of £60, which is a contribution towards the transportation costs incurred by You and Your guest in attending the Event.
  • Tickets are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
  • Tickets will be available via Eventbrite and you will be required to visit Eventbrite.co.uk to claim your Tickets within 14 days of winning the Tickets. You will need to show the Ticket to gain entry. Electronic Tickets will be delivered electronically to the e mail address of the winner of the Tickets.If You have not received Your Tickets 72 hours prior to the Event, please contact Us.
  • Before you finalise your booking with Eventbrite, please read all the information that applies to the Event and/or your Ticket. If you or any member of your party has particular requirements please raise these when confirming attendance and we will endeavour to address your query. There can be no guarantee that requirements can be met if notified at the Event.
  • Ownership or possession of a Ticket does not confer any rights (by implication or otherwise) on You to use, alter, copy or otherwise deal with any of the symbols, trademarks, logos and/or intellectual property appearing on the Ticket.

 

Attending Mecca Fest

  • The Organiser reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Event with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of the Organiser in all matters relating to the Event is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to the Event where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to make alterations to the published Event programme where reasonably necessary.
  • By attending the Event, Ticket holders agree to filming and sound recording of themselves as members of the audience. The Organiser may use such films and recordings (including any copies) without payment.
  • Any games of bingo played at the event will be run in conjunction with the Organiser’s group company, Mecca Bingo Limited (“Mecca”), under Mecca’s gambling licence. Such games of bingo will be operated in accordance with accordance with Mecca’s ‘House Terms’. The Organiser’s decision in relation to such games of bingo shall be final.   • These Terms and Conditions incorporate and should be read in accordance with the Venue, conditions and regulations, copies of which are available upon request from the Venue. In the event of any inconsistency between the terms in relation to Venue requirements, those of the Venue shall prevail.
  • Amongst other things you will need to comply with all relevant statutes, health and safety rules and any security requirements (including security searches for the safety of those attending the event). The Organiser will have rights to refuse admission or eject you in certain circumstances and these are likely to include if you are involved with abusive, threatening, drunken or other anti-social behaviour, or carry offensive weapons or illegal or prohibited substances or make unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings. There may be rules restricting or preventing the admission of latecomers.
  • The Organiser will highlight any terms, conditions or rules relating to the Event of which it is aware and which it considers particularly significant, onerous or unusual. This will generally include age restrictions, ticket types etc.
  • Personal arrangements including travel or accommodation relating to the Event which have been arranged by You are at your own risk. Neither the Organiser nor the Venue will be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of Your personal belongings, other than caused as a result of negligence by the Venue or the Organiser or other breach of statutory duty.

 

Privacy

  • Any personal information collected through Events shall be governed by Our privacy policies. The applicable online version can be found here: https://www.meccabingo.com/content/privacy-policy and the Venue privacy policies can be provided (on request) and/or found at the Venue.
  • We may share your personal information with promoters, venue operators and others as necessary only for the purposes of the Event. We will not otherwise share that information for marketing or any other purposes without your consent (as part of the booking process or otherwise) unless required by law.
  • Meccabingo.com will share your information with 3rd parties only if you have given consent for us to do so. These 3rd parties may use your information to contact you with regards to the specific event or other relevant events you may be interested in, based on your purchase history.
  • We will always respect your privacy and any personal communication between you and ourselves. We will always comply with United Kingdom data protection legislation.

 

General

  • If We delay or fail to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions It shall not mean that We have waived our right to do so.
  • If any dispute arises out of these Terms and Conditions, We will attempt to settle it. To this end We shall use Our reasonable endeavours to consult or negotiate in good faith, and attempt to reach a just and equitable settlement satisfactory to both parties. Although this does not restrict your rights to pursue court proceedings. In the first instance please contact the Venue in relation to any dispute.
  • We shall be entitled to assign any of Our rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions provided that Your rights are not adversely affected.
  • If it is found by a Court that any of these Terms and Conditions for any reason cannot be enforced, this shall not prevent the other provisions from continuing to apply.
  • Any person, other than the Venue, not a party to these Terms and Conditions shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions. The Act can give rights under some contracts to third parties who are not parties to those contracts but in this case only We and the Venue and You (or your assignees permitted hereby) have rights and obligations under this contract.
  • The Organiser intends to rely on the written terms set out here in this document as well as the written terms and conditions of the Venue. You should read the terms and conditions (and any policies referred to in the terms and conditions) carefully before entering into the contract to ensure that they contain everything that You consider has been agreed. If they do not then you should speak to the Organiser. After the contract has been made, these Terms and Conditions cannot be varied or amended in any respect unless both You and the Organiser agree and it is preferable that this is in writing.
  • Nothing in these Terms and Conditions and no action taken by You or the Organiser under these Terms and Conditions shall create, or be deemed to create, a partnership, joint venture or establish a relationship of principal and agent or any other relationship between You and the Organiser beyond the relationship created under these Terms and Conditions.
  • These Terms and Conditions, and the terms and conditions of the Venue and any specially agreed terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties in connection to, its subject matter and supersede any previous terms and conditions, agreement or arrangement between the parties. Each of the parties agrees that it has not entered into these Terms and Conditions in reliance on, and shall have no remedy in respect of, any statement, representation, covenant, warranty, undertaking or indemnity (whether negligently or innocently made) by any person (whether party to these Terms of Conditions or not) other than as expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in this clause shall operate to limit or exclude any liability for fraud.
  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with English law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
